It's moms supporting moms

We are the moms, that chose to leave our full time jobs behind and enjoy a better work-life balance by working flexible hours and staying close to our young kids. Providing remote assistance enables us to constantly learn and grow and allows earning enough income to support our families.
We, Linaster founders, met at a prenatal class and our kids (Lina and Aster) were born just 3 days apart. As we soon discovered, new moms in our community had to either leave their few weeks-old babies and return to work because they can’t afford not to work, or were forced out of their industry and community developments by choosing to stay at home and enjoy the precious first months with their babies.
So we decided to change this.
The idea was conceived (months before the COVID pandemic) out of the urge to help fellow moms/professionals get remote jobs and have the flexibility to care for their young ones all the while earning money to support their families. By dedicating a few hours a week to performing remote tasks, they learn new skills and stay on the top of the industry developments. We carefully recruit our assistants and evaluate them on a number of parameters (including professional experience and skills, communication skills, digital literacy and tech skills, multitasking ability and fluent English). We then provide them with free training on the nuts and bolts of remote work and share precious tips accumulated through the years of our own experience to help them become professionals in remote assistance as well.
We believe that moms should enjoy work and project opportunities without surrendering their time flexibility.
